Line of the Day: Oliver Perez

Great outings were had by a plethora of starting pitchers today. Bannister, Harden, Saunders, Hamels, Carmona and Lester all pitched beautifully. But I'm going with the guy who brought the most heat ...

Oliver Perez: 6 innings, 0 ER, 5 hits, 1 BB, 8 Ks for the W

Ollie had some teammates who didn't fare too shabbily either. David Wright and Ryan Church had three hits and three ribbies apiece.

One of you guys turned me on to your website during a mockdraft, so I wanted to say thanks. I'm droppin' in several times a day, great stuff. Which ever one of you is from the O.C., that's who I chatted with.

On a side note, Jair Jurrjens looked really sharp, although his line doesn't reflect it. Keep up the good work, hoping to be a regular here.

Thanks for the kind words.

It's nice to see my man-love for Oliver Perez bear fruit.

Hey, now to do you compare Saunders or Marcum to Arroyo, Maddux, Erivin Santana and Gorrzelanny (sorry about the spelling - I'm too tired to look it up). Just trying to figure out who's going to be my #4 and 5 starters
