The Brewers bullpen scares them shitless

Heading into the ninth tonight with a 4-1 lead against the Pirates, they sent starter Ben Sheets back out to the mound even though his pitch count was already into triple digits. (He finished with 123 total.) I guess faced with the choice of overworking the oft-injured Sheets or putting the game into the hands of Gagne, Mota or Torres ... well, it's really not much of a choice at all, now is it? (Not to Ned Yost, anyway.)

If I was a Ben Sheets owner, I'd rather slap him in the face with a live rattlesnake than leave the health of his pitching arm in the hands of a manager desperate to keep his job.
