I checked my big-money team yesterday somewhat hastily. I saw that I had seven runs, four home runs, and eight RBIs, so it looked like a pretty good day offense-wise. Then I notice this morning that I had lost several points in batting average. What could have happened?
My team went 6-for-49 yesterday for a robust batting average of .122. Now, four home runs in six hits is a nice ratio, but holy crap. I can't remember the last time I've seen a team have RBI and run totals that were each in excess of the total hits.
Basically, it's the equivalent of being able to do a standing back flip, yet have this happen to you:
