Sell all of your Braves. Sell them now.
Because if you were counting on runs or RBI out of any Braves hitter, I have some disturbing news for you: Batting fourth today was one Omar Infante. Yes, this Omar Infante. The same Omar Infante who has had exactly seven plate appearances in the cleanup spot in his entire career before today, and those were all pinch-hit or double-switch deals. (I'm assuming -- baseballreference.com says six games, seven PA which spells "double-switch" to me. Too lazy today to actually go to the game logs.)
And the worst part is: given the Murderer's Row that got run out there today, it's almost a defensible position.
Look, all I'm saying is that none of this would have ever happened if Bobby Cox were still alive.
