Line of the Day: Adrian Gonzalez

Adrian Gonzalez: 3-for-4, 2 runs, 1 HR, 4 RBI

Kind of a boring line from a boring Monday, especially coming after Carlos's no-hitter. Gonzalez's numbers are going to end up looking almost exactly like they did last year, which is likely just what his owners wanted. (We all know his HR total can't go up too much, considering the ballpark he plays in.)

I am playing in a Yahoo h2h league that allows 7 pickups a week. "Week 25" is 2 weeks long. will I get to pickup 7 guys this week and 7 more starting next Monday? or is "Week 25" considered to be 1 week?

I emailed Yahoo and got no response. No one in the league can answer my question.

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Sports.

I appreciate your inquiry with regards to playoffs.

You will be able to add up to your league's max acquisitions per week
for each week of the championship matchup.

If you are involved in the two-week championship series in a
Head-to-Head league, please consider the following:

1. There are no changes to your innings pitched minimum during the
two-week final. It is not necessary to accumulate double the innings.
So, if your league features a 10-inning minimum, you must accumulate a
total of 10 innings over the course of the two-week series. It is not
necessary to accumulate 20 innings.

2. If your league allows weekly roster moves and lineup changes, teams
WILL be allowed to change lineups after one week of the series. So,
teams may change their lineups at the midway point of the championship

3. Stats are cumulative for the two-weeks of the matchup. Stats and
scoring are not reset after one week of the matchup has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Sports.

Don -- thanks for the heads-up on this. I don't play in any H2H leagues, but the way Yahoo has that set up sounds awfully strange (or, at least, confusing).
